Let me start by saying this facility is very nice clean, convenient, accommodating, and supported by an overall amazing staff. So why the 1-star review? Because on three separate occasions, the night bartender was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely out of line. The first two times, I simply asked for basic items a plate and later a cup. She was sitting at the guest tables on her computer, clearly focused on something else, and reacted as if my request was an inconvenience, all times I told the front receptionists and their response was very polite and apologetic to ask them instead of her as a resolution. I gave her the benefit of the doubt both times, assuming maybe she was having a rough day like we all do, and moved on. Tonight, however, crossed the line. Our group had just finished a meeting in our reserved conference room. Around 30 of us were in the lobby some eating, some on laptops and our belongings were neatly placed on one long table. When she started her shift, she immediately began yelling at us, interrupting an important conversation to say we were “making a mess,” even though everything was contained to that one table and we were clearly guests using the space. We calmly explained we were using the table and would clean up once we were finished, but she continued arguing. When we asked for a manager, she dismissed us and said, “Go ahead, she’s not going to do anything,” then walked away while talking to herself right in front of our employees and other hotel guests. Everyone has personal challenges, and she may be going through something, but this behavior reflects directly on Marriott. Our company chooses Marriott as our preferred hotel for events and travel, and interactions like this affect that trust. If this is her consistent behavior, she should not be working in a customer-facing role.
Typical courtyard experience. The hotel is clean, spacious, and have all the essentials you expect out of them. The draw backs were the mattresses which is too soft / coils pushing against back to have a comfortable night sleep. Old individual AC unit is too loud
Nice clean quiet place to stay, very affordable and they have a minimal deposit compared to any other hotels. Only 20$. Close to restaurants and some places to grab drinks making it convenient even if you don't mind a ten min walk. You have to pay for breakfast and you have free coffee in your room. Basic snacks, soda pop, microwave dinners if your starving. Good well lit parking and even a free open air parking garage. Front desk is very accommodating!
Check in was so fast, my girl kimberly was very helpful when we had questions and requests. She even recommended spots to try that aligned with our preferences. The rooms were very nice and clean. The hallways and common areas were clean and tidy. The location is so close to all the main dallas spots.
The location is great, and the rooms are spacious. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. I stayed for 6 days and 7 nights, and requested full cleaning service on the fourth day, but only received vacuuming. I requested service again on the fifth day, spent that night and the following day out, and returned at 2 AM to discover the room had not been touched at all
