WoodSpring Suites Dallas Plano Central Legacy Drive

We stayed in this location for one night. The check in experience was a nightmare. If the booking was booked with a digital card you can’t check in and be prepared to pay out of pocket unless you can get a credit card authorization form from the person who booked the stay for you. We got to our floor and when the elevator opened we were immediately hit with an overwhelming smell of cannabis and what can only be described as bed bath and dollar tree body spray. We head to our room and the cabinets in the room broken, tv remote taped/broken, walls scuffed/scraped with smeared stuff on the wall. Upon entering the bathroom there was obvious water damage above the shower and wall beside shower is absolutely disgusting (pictures don’t show the full extent of how it actually looks in person) and a used dried bar of soap in the top corner of the shower. The floor was sticky and dirty. Front desk closes at 9 and no front desk staff after. There are quite times posted but there was stomping/banging until about midnight, could hear the traffic from the tollway and we just had to deal with it. The description we got for the hotel stated that there was Continental breakfast but that was a lie. We will not stay at this location again.

We chose this hotel because it was right by my doctor, the location and the sweet lady at the front desk are the only good things about this place. First the elevator hasn't been working in a long time, the breaker blew in our room multiple times because we were charging 3 phones with the lamp on, and the key card stopped working 3 times and we had to constantly get new ones. Overall I know I'm not staying here again but the girl upfront was super nice and professional and we loved her.

So, to add to my previous post...the elevator is always broken. Always. Broken. There was a comment made to expect it to be down in the mornings and evenings but it's only worked 2 days in the nearly month that ive been here....and the roaches. Regardless of what anyone says, there are roaches. I've sprayed my room and put down boric acid but I saw one this morning in the hallway as I was going downstairs to do my laundry. Yes, thats only one at that time but I'm killing a few daily when I'm here and who wants to take pics of dead bugs to prove a point? It's also supposed to be non-smoking with a $250 fine but you can walk down the halls and smell Marijuana through the doors it's so strong. And sometimes in the laundry area from the people that smoke who come in to do their laundry or going in and out of the building due to the odor being in their clothes. I'm a professional business woman, who's here for work and it's sad when someone says they like my "perfume" when I don't smoke. This is a good location to my office so I have to be here.

If you don't mind walking up four flights of stairs, while carrying your luggage. Front desk had a sign up, if you were checking in to use the house phone and dial 500 for assistance. House phone is broken, knocking on doors did nothing. The lobby area looked like someone left for work in a hurry, leaving folded laundry with hangers, crumpled box of cornflakes and a bag of cocoa puffs type cereal. Overall vibe was bad. I'm now checked in at The Marriott.
