I picked this hotel bc of the location and room layout, all of which worked for my family. The staff was friendly, although they charged me for the room at check-in when I’d already paid in advance. They apologized and issued a refund, and I saw it as just a slight inconvenience. But when I checked in to my room I noticed a large roach in the process of dying in the bathroom. I immediately called the front desk and they said they’d move me to another room. While I was waiting to be moved, I noticed two spiders on the floor. Because I was there for two nights I didn’t think it was worth the hassle to go elsewhere (especially since I had a credit card that had been charged for the room twice), but honestly I felt gross and paranoid that bugs would emerge during my whole stay. With young kids this was definitely top of mind for me. We had no issues in the second room, but as others have said, the rooms do need updating (stained upholstery and curtains). I wanted to like it, but I don’t think I’ll be returning here.
I arrived after a long 6 hour drive with my sick child. I was more than exhausted & upset. Carolyn literally changed my whole night. I needed some space out of my room. She helped me get a pizza & was so kind, above and beyond. I’ve stayed at extremely nice 5 start hotels and the customer service from Carolyn was top tier. In the morning breakfast was perfect! Hot and fresh, rooms were nice, clean as expected. Will definitely return!
I had an excellent experience at this Marriott thanks to Elias. He was incredibly helpful and made my stay seamless, even though I arrived late and left early. His professionalism and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression, and I truly appreciated how easy he made everything. I will definitely be back because of the outstanding service he provided. Highly recommend!
Avoid this location. We checked into the Residence Inn Dallas/Legacy in Plano (5001 Whitestone Lane) on December 5th around 2 PM and were shocked by the condition of our two-bedroom suite. The bathroom tile was cracked and still cracking, the bathtub drain was rusted, one of the pillows had a visible stain, the room had a strong odor, and the entire suite was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. Nothing matched what was advertised online. As long-time Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members, this was far below Marriott standards. We felt unsafe staying in the room, checked out immediately, and had to relocate to another hotel at our own expense. Very disappointing experience.
Stayed here for 3 months of the summer. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Caroline helped us greatly getting set up and accommodating us when our other stay felll through and Joel was very attentive and courteous during complimentary breakfast. Would definitely recommend
