I had a wonderful stay at the NYLO Hotel. The hotel has a unique boutique feel with a modern, industrial design that really sets it apart from standard hotels. The rooms were extremely clean, stylish, and comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made the entire experience even better. The location is excellent! close to restaurants, shopping, and major highways, yet still quiet and relaxing. I especially appreciated the overall ambiance of the hotel; it felt upscale but welcoming at the same time. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s comfortable, modern, and different from the typical chain experience, NYLO is an excellent choice. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I worked with this hotel to plan a team offsite, and while the offsite itself went fairly smoothly, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of doing the same. From the very beginning, getting any kind of progress done on the planning end required multiple follow-ups via email and phone call, and when tasks were done by the hotel POC's, I often had to ask them to make multiple corrections. Getting the contract signed took multiple weeks longer than it should have for these reasons. Payment also went awry when I was given a dollar amount, paid it, then was told after the fact I had paid the wrong amount because the number provided didn't include taxes. Fast forward to the day of the offsite- trouble arose when one of our employees tried to check into her (already booked and pre-paid) room without a credit card for incidentals. Instead of taking time to work something out, she was told she was not allowed to check into her room at all. We were told that this response was not company policy, and that the hotel would send a gift to the affected employee to make things right. Making that happen required much hand-holding on my end to select the gift and remind the hotel to order and send the gift. I expected a more proactive response on their end, considering that this was a result of their poor customer service. Another instance of lack of attention to detail occurred when lunch was provided by the hotel as per our agreement, but the 2 gluten-free meals that I had specifically asked to be included were nowhere to be found. I had to ask the restaurant staff to create the gluten-free meals last-minute, which they fortunately did. Again, if it had not been for me proactively speaking to the hotel staff, we would have been stuck with the scenario of either two employees not getting to eat lunch, or having allergic reactions to the meal that was provided. In conclusion, if you are planning a company event in the Plano area, please do yourself a favor and select a different hotel to preserve your time, money, and sanity.

A few words of advice. 1. Do not book this hotel early. Prices are heavily marked up untill 30 days before booked when prices are slashed to fill more rooms. 2. They do not budge on policy, book a room for 1 day before actual check in they would not adjust the dates or offer any kinds of concessions. 3. Do not book the highest available room. Room flooded before check-in and was down graded with no refunds and only other option given was to cancel the entire stay. Staff is nice. Rooms are cool-bathrooms are ehhh But ownership is terrible.

I would personally look for another hotel. This one is trying to pass for more luxurious then it really is. -bathroom has open walls so your privacy there will be limited. - sink in the bathroom is extremely small and not very functional. This is definitely the case when brushing your teeth. - most of the outlets were loose and just pulling out of the wall or table. - shower water temperature would go from cold to scorching and then back cold while not touching the knob. - very strong cologne/perfume smell around the hotel. Like being in holister. - no fridge in room. You can ask for one, but even then they bring you a very dated cheap small fridge. - $10 for parking in an unsecured location is absurd. - the bed itself was not comfortable. Was a bit firm but maybe others prefer this. - people had dogs in room that started barking at 6am. - coffee machine in room wasn’t even plugged in for us. The staff however was very friendly and really the only reason I gave the hotel two stars.

Really unpleasant time staying here. There was construction right above my room. I told the front desk that was trying to rest before our company event, and was told by staff they asked the crew ‘to keep it down.’ Hammering and power tools were clearly heard continuously for over an hour and a half. Even while wearing headphones I could hear it clearly. I requested an extra blanket three times over two nights via the text feature and received a response saying it would be taken care of, but I never got it. Being in the hospitality industry… I expect more from a hotel. All the doors slam upon shutting so you’re constantly hearing people leave their rooms - including the early hours of the morning and late at night. Same with the elevator. My room is halfway down the hall and I can hear the chime when it arrives. The bathroom walls do not go up to the ceiling- so if you’re not traveling solo there’s no privacy. Simply a poor quality hospitality experience all around. If they want to do something about it they can refund my company.
