TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dallas Plano/Richardson

Our hockey team stayed here for a tournament. The service was better than any hotel we’ve ever stayed at, and we do this several times a month for games. Anna made sure we were all comfortable, and the way she smiled at our kids melted this mamas heart. James at the bar was super attentive and made sure we all were having the best time. Everything was SUPER clean and new feeling. Hands down, best group hotel experience we’ve had!

What to give the location is completely dependent on where you're going or where you want to be. It worked fine for me. Service was fine. The hotel room itself was okay, nothing special. The room did not have an opaque curtain or drape, covering the window, so that's a negative. The TV was in a funny location. but it was clean and relatively well maintained. Adequate for my purpose, and the price was right. YMMV.

Great location, easy to find & very well connected to the main arteries of the city. It is a very new hotel so from an aesthetics perspective it is pretty much perfect—comfortable beds, quality room etc. Hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Free breakfast was decent. The pet fee of $100 was an unpleasant surprise and seemed a little excessive to me for a 10lb little dog. I understand it but it essentially doubled the cost of our stay, feels like a revenue center for them.

Hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast was good, but not lots and lots of choices. Oatmeal, scrambled eggs, a meat, waffles. No potatoes or fruit. Coffee and juice. Bagels, bread, a pastry or two. Free, and we could get enough to eat. I added salsa (supplied) to eggs, no grated cheese. Maybe that’s not a thing in Texas? I’d stay here again when I return to the north Dallas area. Nice having a kitchen in room. Five stars. Free parking.

I came to Plano for a wedding and stayed the first two nights in another hotel. My friend was staying here and I immediately decided to book my last night here when I walked in the lobby to pick her up. The area feels safe, it is easy to find, and the hotel itself is worth it over others nearby that are priced slowly lower. The lady at the front remembered my name when I came back to check in, the suite was super clean, and I wish I had stayed here for my whole trip. Also, having traveled for over a week in Florida and Texas before arriving, this is the best hotel breakfast I came across. I will definitely come back if I find myself in the area.
