I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for just one night, and everything exceeded expectations. The front desk staff were outstanding . Andrew and his colleague provided excellent service. They were friendly, professional, and made check-in quick and seamless. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet perfect for a restful night. Breakfast the next morning was fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town. Highly recommended!!!
The first thing you notice is "all the little things" that need repaired. Small holes in walls, cuts in wallpaper, stains on carpet, etc. The elevator is EXTREMELY slow. It feels its probably on its last leg. Our room smelled of mildew, and we found roughly five or so centipedes on the floor throughout our 3-night stay. The color schemes, smell, and 'retro' look tell me things probably haven't been updated in quite some time. There is no breakfast, but there is a bar area where you can order some overpriced food or coffee in the morning. What kind of hotel doesnt offer at least free coffee these days? Overall, it wasnt terrible, but dont let the Mariott name fool you, this place is subpar. And with so many other options in the area at roughly the same price, I can find absolutely no reason to ever stay here again. However, I will give an extra star for the front desk clerks. They all seemed very friendly.
Absolutely disgusted with my experience at this Marriott location. From the moment I walked in, the front desk lady was incredibly rude and unaccommodating. No warmth, no effort to help—just attitude. It only got worse from there. The beds were terrible—they felt like sleeping on plastic-wrapped cardboard. Definitely not the comfort you’d expect from a Marriott. No free breakfast, which is laughable given how much they charge per night. The pool was filthy and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a while. As if that wasn’t enough, the bathroom was downright gross. The toilet had stains, and there was hair in the shower—clearly no attention to cleanliness or quality control. This stay was so bad that I am closing my Marriott account permanently. I will never be using Marriott again and I’m actively telling friends, family, and coworkers to avoid them as well. A total embarrassment to the Marriott name.
Front desk was not properly staffed. I went to check out and no one was there, I waited 30 minutes before just leaving a note and my room keys. I had a flight to catch. It has been 2 weeks since my "check out "and I have yet to get my itemized bill. I have tried calling but the phone says unable to connect.
Great hotel. Clean, friendly in a great location for shopping or getting food and drinks or doing the soccer thing which I dont really know what is but apparently it's a local attraction. World cup museum is right across the street.
