UPDATE: 8/19/25: Thank you Leslie H. for the reply and I do hope better changes take place. 🙂 Date 8/10/25, Sunday: To any CUSTOMERS who shops or visits this establishment please be AWARE of a long blonde wavy haired manager who is absolutely awful at her customer service skills and a horrible leader to her employee's. Her arrogance towards helping customers when the store had a long line of people waiting to be helped as she disappeared out of sight while the awesome gentleman employee who was cashiering at the Amazon return line was the most helpful, patient and apologetic towards customers. Even when a "boomer" privileged loud spoken customer cut in front of the line and voiced her opinion about the long line, this employee kept his cool and managed the incident very well. I applaud this employee for his customer service skills. Thumbs down to the disrespectful manager who berated a customer for trying to explain his purchase situation. The customer accepted her ignorance and left the store. I would give her NO stars if it was possible and FIVE stars to the gentleman employee who kept everything in the front going as quickly as possible. STAPLES you definitely need to take a closer look at the character managing your store. She carries the title but she doesn't carry the honor of being a respectable leader. Outside of the above incident, the store looks clean and tidy. The items are easy to locate and price tags and sales are in sight. Many printers with scanners and comfortable office chairs to choose from.
This store is clean and well organized. I use it to drop off Amazon returns. Specific counter for Amazon and the 3 times I've been here over the year, I've encountered THE SAME STAFF MEMBER! That indicates it's a great place to work. I appreciate the dedication to fast friendly service. Usually in and out within 5-6 minutes.
Shout out to Matt in print services. I got some business cards printed that turned out really bad, but he spent a lot of time with me to upload a new file, play around with margins, and print a new sample for me to approve. He assured me that I wouldn't have to pay for anything I wasn't happy with. His customer service is 5 stars!!
On 10/15/2025 I went to our local Staples to look at and purchase a new inkjet printer. There were a couple of sales associates in the area of the printers but neither seemed interested in supporting a customer with questions. In was not until a member of the leadership team came by that we got any support. The young man that did help us was most knowledgeable and helpful.
What does it take to hire more people or train the print shop staff better? Multiple times I've waited for over 30 minutes to pick up a completed online order. It would take 2 seconds to help me, and several other people waiting. But the staff is always wrapped up with one person without even acknowledging the line or stepping away to handle quick things like online pickups or simple questions. It's just bad customer service.
