Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Plano/The Colony

Location was ideal! The staff was so nice and accommodating to our family. Mr.Charles at the front desk is a gem and valuable asset to this establishment. He made sure we had the best stay. The television remote didn't work. Ms. Shirley was quick to make it right and swiftly changed our room. Definitely will stay again because they treated me like family and not a customer. Breakfast was also great!

Staff were exceptional, friendly and welcoming. My room however was dated and had a slight smell. We were told it was the only single room, king bed available (Thanksgiving) so, we went to the nearest Walmart and got some Fabreez. In fairness, I didn't raise my concerns with the staff but I still wanted to share for their knowledge.

I recently stayed Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Plano/The Colony with a large group of 20+ employees and families for our company Christmas party at a nearby venue. The staff was great and very accomodating to our large group. Big shout out to Alisha and Charles at the front desk for taking extra good care of employees! Great facilities, breakfast and accomodations, lots to do nearby this location.

Stayed here in July 2025. The location is great: easy access to major highways and tons of options for food, shopping, and entertainment. The rooms were quite old and the furnishings worn out and dirty. However, the rooms were exceptionally clean (like 9/10 cleanliness!). The pull out sofa bed was uncomfortable, but that’s to be expected. The cost of the room was considerably lower than other nearby options, so that was nice. In summary, not the nicest room but the cost is appropriate. And the surrounding area has tons to offer.

Dropped in for a weekend meeting and wanted something clean, quiet and cheap but didn't feel cheap. This place checked all of those boxes. Everything I needed was nearby and there were plenty of food options within walking distance. The staff was friendly and professional. If I'm in the neighborhood again, I'll be staying here.
