Frustrated!!!! We bought a ticket from Austin to Dallas for the 11:50 service on December 14th. It has been an absolute nightmare. We've been sitting for four hrs and 15 wins and counting and the bus hasn't moved yet! The driver apologized and said that a technician is on the way to fix the door. This is unacceptable, the bus should not be allowed to get on the road!!! I read other reviews (late!) about bus 8130 as well. The company is reckless. Worst experience ever. Absolutely unacceptable and incompetent. Avoid Red Coach at all, you have been warned

I’m giving one star only because I have to. This has been by far the worst bus experience I’ve ever had. As a college student, I thought taking the bus would be a simple and affordable way to get from campus back to my hometown, but RedCoach has been anything but convenient.Nine times out of ten, the bus is delayed. Even when it’s supposedly on time, it becomes a hassle because the pickup location is constantly changed without notifying customers. The tracking system is unreliable it will say the bus is delayed when it’s not, or worse, the bus will leave earlier than the scheduled time.Customer service makes the experience even worse. When you call with questions or concerns, representatives are rude, cut you off, and don’t take the time to actually listen. They make excuses to avoid letting you speak to a supervisor and show no willingness to accommodate or help resolve issues.Overall, RedCoach is extremely difficult to deal with, and I would not recommend it to anyone expecting reliable transportation or decent customer service.

I am writing to formally complain about my experience traveling on December 26th from The Woodlands to Richardson on bus 3816. This was only my second time ever riding a bus. Unfortunately, the driver made the experience extremely upsetting. She arrived approximately five minutes before departure at the Shell station on Highway 145 in The Woodlands and immediately began behaving in an aggressive, rude, and confrontational manner. During boarding, she barked orders at me in a way I did not understand and then yelled at me when I became confused. She accused me of “micro-aggression,” which was both inappropriate and shocking. I am a 60-year-old customer and was simply trying to follow instructions. My bag was heavy, and I was first told to place it on top of the bus, then publicly yelled at to move it to another compartment, all in front of other passengers. This treatment was humiliating and completely unacceptable. The behavior continued when boarding in Houston and again when disembarking in Richardson. At no point was the driver calm, respectful, or compassionate. This is not how customers—especially older customers—should be treated. If this is representative of how RedCoach drivers interact with passengers, I will seriously reconsider using your service in the future. This driver either needs additional customer service training or should not be working in a customer-facing role. Please consider this a formal complaint. I expect this matter to be reviewed and addressed. Sincerely, Unhappy Customer

Absolute worst experience today, I booked a ticket from Austin to Dallas that was scheduled to leave at 10:30am. The bus arrived over and hour late then upon arrival I was informed that the bus had been overbooked and my only options were a refund, a voucher or a later bus that would be arriving at 6:30pm. Unfortunately the 6:30pm bus was also almost at capacity and there would be no guarantee that if I waited I would secure a seat home. There was no concern or assistance with the fact that because of their own system error I was now stranded. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else and would recommend strong caution against booking with redcoachusa.

Horrible experience. Bus broke down 5 minutes into the ride. We waited three and a half hours before the replacement bus showed up. I called customer service, they said they didn’t have an update after 1.5 hours of us waiting. Spend the extra cash on Vonlane. Don’t give these guys another dollar. Bus 8130. 12/7/25
