I've been being bear to be groomed here his whole life. He is 9 now. The last couple of years we have been going to see Kimberly. She was amazing. He would be there no more than 2 hours. He loved going to see her. Even though he hates getting his hair cut. He Always looked amazing when we left. I made an appointment a couple of months ago but Kimberly was no longer listed as a groomer. So I decided to go back to the groomer we used before Kimberly. When I came in this morning I asked if Kimberly was no longer working there. I was informed that she made assistant manager. Congratulations. Yessica has a high volume of clientele. So it always takes around 4 hours. I hate bear having to be kenneled. So I decided to book the first appointment at 830. Thinking since he would be her first appointment that it shouldn't take as long. I arrived at 820. There was no workers there. Bear gets nervous about going to get his hair cut. He was shaking and hanging on me while we waited. We took some pictures while we waited and he was visibly nervous in the pictures. At 825 a young lady walked in and said oh I didn't expect anyone to be here. I said I have an 830 appointment. She was pleasant. Got bears papers printed and told me yessica should be there soon. During this another woman came in with a dog. She also had an 830 appointment with Yessica. Another worker walked in a young man. The young lady told him that she printed bears paperwork but didn't know how to do the haircut process. He then talked to me and had me fill out the paperwork. He asked if I wanted the normal teddy bear hair cut with shaved body. I said yes but I want around his eyes and eyebrows really short. It just grows to quick. He took bear and I left. It took almost 4 hours. When I got him. He had to go potty bad. Since he won't go when he's inside. So we hurried outside. When we got in the car. I realized how bad his hair cut was. His ears should be long and he should have a beard. Both very short. We are going on vacation and I wanted him to be a pretty boy. Instead he has a bad hair cut. There was a lot of confusion this morning. Don't understand how there is no one working prior to the appointment times. Also don't understand how you can have a groomer that has 2 clients scheduled for the same time. Sadly disappointed in this experience. As the day went on it became more and more upsetting. That I spent all this money to not get the haircut I asked for and bear had to be there for so long. I could have cut his hair to look like this myself for free.

Employ told me I can’t keep fish with an Africa cichlid, lol. Yeah one but the others, she said not where you’re from. Okay, where the hell am I from? I asked her you even know where Trinidad is, she said the Middle East. @petsmart control your smart ass remarks to your self. Thank you and will never go to your fish concentration camps again. Learn no to judge a book by its cover and consider that the people coming in your store, they are seasoned fish keepers like myself. Over 15 years in the hobby. Will never go to a PetSmart again. DID NOT get the fish picture at PetSmart. Have a great relation ship now with Petco after I explained to the manager what happened. Everyone is an adult her mostly, don’t judge people… its sad the amount of money I have spent with them, thousands over the years. I own 8 tanks from 2.5 to a 250. If I need to move fish I can, but this woman was so hostile and in my mind racist. Most likely will contact HR. Was bullies and made fun of how I look all my life, 31 and it’s still happening? Ridiculous. Older white woman is the culprit, short and glasses. Please don’t treat others like you did me.

Been a petsmart customer for years in different cities and this location for close to 5 years. (Halstead location in Chicago is the best Petsmart anywhere.) First weird and unusual experience I've ever had at Petsmart. Customer in front of me I guess didn't have a Banfield prescription card and the cashier (who has always been nice) asked another employee for help. I guess he made up a number or something and the customer was able to purchase the prescription dog food but told to go to Banfield and get a prescription card. I went to purchase my prescription food, my Banfield card was expired and I was told I couldn't purchase without the updated Banfield card. WHAT?!?!? The customer in front had no card and they basically made up a number and I wasn't allowed to make my purchase with my expired card. (I went to Banfield, got an updated card and made my purchase. ) Honestly, it made me feel pretty second rate. I guess I was dressed worse or looked worse or wasn't spending $100 on a bag of food, or what. No dang clue. I'll probably stop going to this location and drive 30mins further to another location. It made no sense.

Training. Ashley Smith is beyond Awesome! Our North Texas Corgis group sets up group trainings with her because she is an outstanding trainer. My last rescue would bite her father. (I had to carry her in and out of the car.) After six weeks of training, they understand each other, no more biting dad. :0) Thank You Ashley! We Love You!

This store's general manager does not care about animal treatment in his store. I passed by this gross display of dying fish and tried to speak to the worker in the area. But she just stared at me and walked away when I asked her if she could change the water. That was weird. I then went up front and asked to speak to the store manager and in a nutshell, he told me they do not throw away the fish that don't sell, which I think is a lie, and that this display is fine. Smh. He told me I could make A complaint to corpoorate If I wanted to, I later found out the complaints, go straight to the store manager. So really Google Reviews is the only place I could post this. I would like to tell that manager, his #1 Responsibilities is animal welfare, and this is not okay even though he said that this display of fish was perfectly fine. Be better sir.
