Orphan Outreach

I am so grateful for Orphan Outreach. I have participated in mission trips and various other ways. Amy, Mike, and Tiffany have poured out their lives for the people they serve for as long as I've known them, which is about 20 years. The ministry reflects God's heart for the suffering in the way it supports young adults, teens, children, and families. I've had the privilege of getting to know some of the staff from Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, and Guatemala, and they are amazing people as well.

I have been donating to this charity for more than 10 years. Recently, I have tried contacting them to discontinue. No response to my emails or calls. They keep charging me. Now I have to dispute their transactions and stop payment.

For years, I have been a dedicated supporter, donor, and volunteer of Orphan Outreach, believing in its mission to serve vulnerable children with integrity and compassion. However, I can no longer support an organization whose leadership operates in secrecy and deception. The Board of Directors has made a reckless, unjust, and indefensible decision—covertly removing the sitting president without transparency, explanation, or justifiable cause. This act of betrayal has damaged Orphan Outreach’s legacy and undermined trust, integrity, and, ultimately, the very children and communities it serves. It is unconscionable to see a mission built on integrity tainted in this way, betraying the trust of those who have faithfully supported it. What the board has done is more than a poor decision—it is a failure of leadership and a blatant abuse of power. Orphan Outreach has long stood for honesty, faith, and service, but the board’s actions contradict every one of those values. This is a failure of leadership at the highest level. Those responsible must be held accountable. Leadership is a privilege, not a tool for control. The secrecy and manipulation surrounding this decision should concern anyone who truly cares about Orphan Outreach and the impact it claims to make. To anyone who currently donates or is considering supporting this organization, I urge you to take caution. Ask hard questions. Demand transparency. An organization that allows power and control to override integrity cannot and should not expect blind trust. If leadership can be removed without transparency, what other critical decisions are being made without accountability? I take solace in knowing that truth always comes to light. No matter how long deception lasts, accountability always follows. I stand by my decision to discontinue my support. The children and communities served by Orphan Outreach deserve better.
