This is the place to go when spending massive amounts of cash is not a problem! This place is full of the best gadgets that will be useful for those outdoorsey kind of adventuresome people. I give a shout out to management to Graham Ballard, Jerome Jay, and Yash Bodalia for taking the time to answer my many questions and who made my experience positive and informative. They deserve the Christmas bonus, raise, or just a perfect gift. I loved my time their and here is my proof!
Ok, first, Kevin Stewart is amazing. He helped me build a pc, as a 15yr old, and he saved me so much money, and gave me a huge performance boost! He helped me pick out the Intel Arc b580, and even told me some tips, and gave me private help, 10/10. Other employees are great, store is more than clean, everything’s locatable on the website, and the prices are unmatched.
JUNE 26, 2025. I have shopped at this Micro Center location numerous times since they opened in the 1990's. I have always been helped by Associates who seem to genuinely care about the customer. Today I had several questions pertaining to different issues. David Thompson has assisted me for many years, but he was not working Thursday. No problem. Retail Sales & Merchandise Associate Phillip Sternitzke answered all my questions, and spent time researching and providing important documents that he printed out. During the checkout process Cashier Yusef Scafuto could not locate the 501(c)(3) non-profit information in the database. (It probably had expired, and needed to be renewed.) No problem. I had all the information, and he helped me to quickly fill out a new form and complete the transaction. Edmond Karcanaj was there also. This transaction was not the "Big Sale of the Day" for Micro Center, but I have referred hundreds of people & businesses over the past decades to this outstanding location. Some of those sales were for thousands of dollars. Thank you Marvin M. So whether your electronic or computer needs are large or small, Micro Center will assist you with them all. All of these Associates were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Good people + good products = 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google Reviews, and positive referrals. Great customer service! Thank you all very much! OCTOBER 24, 2025 UPDATE: Steven James, a long-time associate, greeted me when I entered. Today I needed a 1TB or 2TB SSD Solid State Drive for a MSI Micro Star International Laptop, a Samsung 25W Power Adapter, and some printer paper. I had a good conversation with Jim "Money" who is always the consummate professional. Kita Khamvongsa & Victor Cobos then answered all my questions, and assisted me in locating the parts I inquired about. The Cashier Sai U. completed the transaction. As always, great customer service from everyone!
They have a ton of staff to help you out. I took my laptop in for repair, but the motherboard was fried. The whole process was easy, and they kept me updated via text. The repair and labor will cost about a grand, so I'll probably just call HP since it's a three-year-old laptop. I paid $86 for the diagnostic. I totally recommend Micro Center for repairs, buying stuff, and tech advice.
In all honesty, I love Micro Center. It’s one of my favorite places to window shop—super clean, well-organized, and staffed with people who actually know what they’re talking about. The employees here are clearly passionate, and that alone makes it a standout in a world of tech stores full of blank stares and shrugged shoulders. But let’s be real: there are a few major things holding this place back from being a 5-star experience. First off, the fact that they don’t have a working phone number is flat-out frustrating. Sometimes you just want to call and ask a quick question—but you’re forced to either drive over or dig through their website for answers that might not even be there. Second, the pricing and service structure feels… greedy. I spent over $6,000 on a custom computer here—buying everything from them—and they still wouldn’t include a free data transfer or waive the build fee. I get that services cost money, but when you’re dropping that kind of cash, a little customer appreciation would go a long way. Third, the build service itself was overpriced and incomplete. When I got the PC home, I had to update the BIOS myself—which should’ve been done as part of the build. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s sloppy. And don’t even get me started on how much they charge for PC repairs. At the end of the day, Micro Center is a great place to buy parts and browse, but when it comes to support and service, it misses the mark. It’s a 10/10 for product selection and knowledge—but a 0/10 for customer-first policies. That averages out to a solid 3 stars in my book.
