I'll be honest, I don't remember what we had at this place. I just remember it being good enough for me to keep the receipt, forget about it, find it, and still come back and write this review. The vibes of this place is so comforting and nostalgic in that it's one of the old school mom & pop home cooking diner type spots. It looks like a true family-run business; they were so gracious. My niece had an issue with her food, and they quickly rectified it. It was just good vibes, food, and service all around. Just go and enjoy yourself!
my first time eating at this place. i’m a very picky eater and where i eat. it was ok til i got to the biscuit. not sure if you can see it but it was very very greasy even the bag is greasy so i left the biscuit.
We found this place while traveling what a find. The staff was beyond 5 star starting with our server never got her name but said she’s everyone’s grandma top notch quick with the coffee refill fun to visit with. The cook had orders turned in great time for the amount of people seated. Food was amazing the gentleman that greeted each table I would have taken for the owner was pleasant and friendly took time to make sure that each guest was happy. What they have I hope it’s there on my next visit thru Plano.
What a cute little neighborhood diner! Small, quiet, and quaint place with excellent service and really good food! I tried the seafood omelette and got some hollandaise sauce on the side which was great! You can tell there were some regulars in there, plenty of space to sit and they have an old fashioned diner style bar to sit at!
We had a business breakfast at Little Gus Cafe this week, and I’ll absolutely be coming back any time I’m in Plano. The portions were generous, the quality was outstanding, and the atmosphere made it feel like we were regulars—even though it was our first visit. There were seven of us, and while we weren’t a huge group, we definitely didn’t make it easy. Everyone had their own unique twist on what they wanted—from extra crispy bacon to eggs cooked with surgical precision. But somehow, every single plate came out fast, accurate, and incredibly tasty. I had a massive omelet packed with hearty chunks of sausage, melty cheese, and onions and jalapeños so fresh they still had a little snap when you bit into them. Absolute perfection. Gus himself came out to check on us, which added a personal touch you just don’t see much anymore. It was a small moment, but it really brought the whole experience together—like the final piece of a puzzle that makes the whole picture click. I’m looking forward to many more meals with Gus and his team. This place isn’t just a great diner—it’s the kind of spot that makes you want to become a regular.
