O. M. G. I absolutely love this place. It's like a treasure hunt for all things for your home. We have lots of goodies from here. It's just a great place to shop and find bargain's. From imported olive oil and balsamic vinegars to lamps, chairs and bedding. Oh let's not forget the pet section as well.
I am literally of my own happy freewill and fruition paying my babysitter triple of …(her somewhat staggering teenage rate already lol)… ….Just to IMMEDIATELY give my most sincere, utmost earnest appreciation due to my wonderful staff friends here tonight. From here on out, total loyalty to this store in particular along with Homegoods overall is a no-brainer, for the astonishing selflessness, empathy, and overall professionalism AND consideration they extended to me - yes me, THE QUINTESSENTIAL YOUNG INCONSIDERATE WHITE GIRL THAT RUSHES IN AT 9:26 WITH A SERVICE PUPPY ….a certified/fully credentialed service animal, that I am still shocked to admit didn’t even behave within her DECENTEST manners -let alone usual good ones. How professional and dutiful to their company and also myself on a fine line was so impressive. i cant emphasize enough, these wonderful 5 women’s outstanding customer service and also respect to their company, with tired eyes, hidden behind all smiles for me - undeservingly so. Tomorrow I will be getting their specific names no matter what so they may receive specific credit as I am not easily impressed whatsoever, especially by nature of my public service vocation. In other words, this is all to say that these outstanding, delightful, hardworking 5 women working on the night of November 2nd, until 9:30pm, Sunday. (Lord knows probably even later, just on behalf of myself and my supposedly professional exemplaury trained puppy that disrespected them) I always loved Homegoods, but now I adore it and am firmly attached to this very one. Bless each of you, for all you do. Cannot sing your praises enough but will be doing so.
The staff is very helpful here that the store is so completely overstocked that it's literally a nightmare experience to shop here. You cannot fit but a single cart down any aisle so there cannot be two people with carts on any aisle. Trying to navigate through this store was frustrating not only for me but for other shoppers as well. I'm from California and have been to several home goods stores. I have never been and one that was as disorganized and clustered to the point that it was a dysfunctional experience. If I lived here I would not be returning to the store. I would go to Marshalls or Ross and avoid this like the plague.
I visited HomeGoods today for the first time in a long while, since I usually shop online to avoid the crowds. I noticed that the familiar staff were no longer there — it seems the team has changed completely. What surprised and disappointed me the most was the store’s refusal to wrap an item I purchased. It was made of resin, a material that can easily get scratched, and I was hoping for some protective wrapping. However, the cashier told me that the manager does not allow wrapping for anything that isn’t ceramic or glass. Honestly, I could have accepted that policy if it had been explained kindly. But the way the cashier spoke to me — the tone, the attitude — felt dismissive and disrespectful. Instead of politely declining, she simply said, “Sorry, I can’t wrap that. Manager said no,” in a tone that made me feel looked down upon. It wasn’t what she said, but how she said it that left a very negative impression. For anyone planning to shop here, just be aware: they will not wrap any items unless they are ceramic or glass. If you’re buying something delicate but not made of those materials, you’ll need to prepare your own packaging.
