Excellent stay! Everything was perfect. Plenty of parking and a great location with lots of nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. The front desk staff was very friendly, the lobby was clean, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with good variety. The hotel was quiet, well maintained, and very convenient. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
If you’re looking for a comfortable, reliable, and affordable place to stay in the Plano–Dallas area, this Holiday Inn should be at the top of your list. IHG properties have always been our home away from home, and this location truly delivers. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team—especially Nikki and Abhi—made us feel genuinely welcome. They were quick to assist with anything we or other guests needed, and Nikki even checked in on everyone during breakfast to ensure we were taken care of. Speaking of breakfast, it’s a standout. With fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, eggs, potatoes, sausage (including turkey sausage), and their signature warm cinnamon rolls, there’s something for everyone. The self-serve coffee machines that brew each cup fresh were another big plus and the perfect way to start the day. The hotel itself is newer, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding, and the gym has all the equipment you need to keep up your routine. Its location right off the expressway makes it incredibly convenient, giving you quick access to great dining and shopping in the area. If you’re visiting Plano or Dallas, don’t hesitate—book your stay here. It’s everything you want in a hotel stay and more.
My wife and I stayed here so we could spend the holidays with family. From beginning to end the stay was great. The front desk put us on the fourth floor since we were staying for multiple days, "so there is no one above you making noise." That was very thoughtful. The fitness room is very similar to any hotel fitness room, a few machines that seldom get used. They do have a bike, treadmill, elliptical and dumb bells and bench. The breakfast was nice, typical hotel breakfast. The attendants were constantly checking on everything and wiping surfaces. I went to the front desk for towels and wash clothes and they had plenty, I've had to do 1to1 exchanges at other hotels and sometimes wait for housekeeping to finish laundering them because they did not have extras. It was close to everything we needed and it was easy to get on and off the highway for travel. The front desk staff were very courteous. We will be staying here again the next time we are in the area.
Me and my daughter enjoyed our stay each time we’ve stayed at this particular location. Nikki and Abigail are the best, they were very friendly and helpful. The first room we stayed in the a/c leaked water, reported it and was given the option to change rooms we opted to stay put since we were checking out thein the next couple of days. As for the breakfast it is ok, the fruit needs to be checked before putting it out, some of the apples were overly ripe to the point they were soft and partially rotten. The room was half cleaned so my daughter sanitized the room m. Overall I would recommend this location, it’s in walking distance to several restaurants.
We recently did a block of rooms here for a family wedding. Mostly all of us had a pretty good experience except for a few things. The cleanliness can definitely be better for e.g. there were few pieces of something that seemed like a raisin (not sure) under the coffee table and then some when we opened the sofa bed. The towels provided for 3 people in the room were very minimal. We had to request for more towels which were provided pretty quickly. We saw a few tea / coffee spills / stains in the breakfast area that weren’t cleaned off even though the breakfast had just started so they were probably old stains. Our room was on the 4th floor and the galley on the whole floor was always super hot more so seemed like there was no air conditioning ever turned on there for all the 5 days we stayed. One of our other parties had some other issues like housekeeping sending out requested items after 5 hours. They were also locked out of their room when returning after midnight from a wedding. They were reprogrammed but even that didnt work and then the hotel staff had to use the master key each time they wanted to get in their room … super inconvenient. Thankfully it was the last night of our stay there. Room was spacious, comfortable bed (we carried our pillows so can’t comment to that), nice size bathroom as well. Storage is extremely limited. Only 2 drawers in the suite, no side drawers to the bedside as well. There was also no safe deposit box in our room. Breakfast is pretty decent with ample choices. Also a pancake machine which was good. Very small fitness center with one of each machine. Laundry room also had only 1 of each machine. Pool was decent size. The value for money was good but the above items should definitely be taken into consideration.
