(regarding an experience from December 8th, 2025): I needed emergency assistance with my car in a pinch, and stopped into this Discount Tire because it was the closest place I could reach! I described my situation over the phone because I thought it was relating to my tire, but it turned out to be a brake issue. Despite this, the employees at this location were extremely understanding, and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist with the issue so I would be able to drive home. I really appreciated their help and honesty!
Had a fantastic experience at Discount Tire off Ohio Dr in Plano thanks to Junior and Nate. They handled my aftermarket wheels with precision, care, and professionalism. From start to finish, the process was smooth and respectful of my vehicle — they even bagged up my OEM wheels and extra parts neatly, which shows pride in their work and attention to detail. They were friendly, quick, and made sure everything was tightened, torqued, and dialed in. It’s rare to find a crew that takes the time to treat your car like it’s their own. Highly recommend this location if you're upgrading wheels or need tire service — ask for Junior or Nate. You’ll get honest service, clean work, and a great customer experience. Appreciate the positive vibes during a crazy week — thank you both!
Went to this DT on October 2nd for my tire to be aired up. No issues whatsoever before this. The guy offered to air all of them up and starting that day all my tire sensors suddenly were broken. Light stayed on after doing this. Careful with airing up your tires here!
I would like to RAAAAAVE for just a minute on the absolutely STELLAR staff and services at Discont Tire in North Plano off of Ohio and 121. My tire was REALLY low when I got off work tonight. I had a DANGEROUSLY low fuel level, as well, but knew if I didnt get the tire aired up immediately, I would have to drive the car too far and too long to save the rim. The air line was super long but it moved reasonably quick and efficiently. It was long enough that I had to keep turning off my car to conserve fuel. Once I got to the front, technically, the store was already closed. However, they checked my tires and noticed, not only that the tire was low, but I also had an impact bubble. I asked if they could just fill it up tonight so I could get gas, and then bring the car back in the morning. Ty saw my concern and contemplated the best option to ensure my safety. He said they would take me RIGHT NOW, after hours because the tire was just too risky and they wanted me to be safe. I was in a YUGE time crunch due to worship practice tonight, AND I was leading team Bible study in just under and hour in Lewisville. I didnt think there was ANY WAY they could get my car serviced in time to get there so I was almost resigned to cancel...Tanner ensured that they could replace two tires for me and get me to the gas station in enough time to get me home and on my way to church. Y'ALL I kid you not...my intake notice was 6:07 pm and they had me ready to go by 6:17. I was at the gas station by 6:25 and at Testimony Church in Lewisville by 7:02....I mean, MAAAAAN, these guys are AHMAZING!! Kind, professional, thorough, and timely! Thank God for these men, working SO HARD, in this cold weather, after office hours, no less, to help me get home safe and sound and in time for church!!🙏🙏🙏
The service advisor and the individuals responsible for the car’s service failed to fulfill the service I had paid for. The service included replacing one tire with a nail, balancing, and rotating the tires on the passenger side. However, the service executed by Discount Tire only replaced the tire with a nail. I informed the service advisor that only the tire with a nail was replaced and that the balance was not performed. The service advisor responded with a dismissive smirk and unprofessional response. I responded, “Yes, because I informed the crew working on the car that balance and rotate must be executed per order.” The crew reviewed the work order again and executed the balance on the remaining tires. In addition, the service crew added incorrect tire pressures even after I corrected the Discount Tire mistake of stating incorrect tire pressures. The service advisor could have at least offered an apology, which would have been sufficient. Regrettably, the unprofessional words and demeaning body language displayed were unacceptable. I will take my business elsewhere next time. If Discount Tire wants my service information, I will be more than willing to provide appointment time and date along with service advisor so that corrective actions can be exercised to make improvements.
