De Ra Cofffee (now DAR Coffee) is a delightful coffee shop serving delicious coffee drinks, Mediterranean cuisine, and desserts. All food is made on the premises. We ordered the Mediterranean Breakfast for two featuring eggs, hummus, beans, a salad with falafel, and pita. We also ordered a pistachio latte and a pistachio tres leches cake. Everything was so good! The shop has a family-friendly vibe even while some were working on laptops. Best of all were the staff. They were welcoming, efficient, and so proud of the restaurant. Highly recommend!
An elegant little coffee stop where everything simply tastes right. The pastries look refined and the drinks come out with that smooth, confident balance that tells you they take their craft seriously. I tried a couple of items and nothing felt rushed or generic. The atmosphere is calm, modern, and polished, perfect for sitting down with something warm and genuinely delicious. A place that treats coffee like an experience instead of a routine.
Every time I visit Texas, this coffee spot is a must-stop for me. It consistently offers a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that makes it ideal for a quiet coffee break or a productive work session. The service is calm and respectful, and the environment is thoughtfully designed, with natural light and well-maintained houseplants that add a refreshing touch to the space. The quality of the coffee is excellent — always rich, balanced, and expertly prepared. Their selection of pastries complements the drinks beautifully, offering both variety and freshness. Above all, the highlight of every visit is their signature pistachio latte, which stands out as the best item on the menu. Whether served iced or hot, it’s smooth, flavorful, and unique — a drink that keeps me coming back. DeRa is consistent in quality, ambiance, and service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great coffee in a relaxed and well-curated space.
Good differentiation from other coffee shops in the general area in two categories - the solids to accompany your liquids and no overtly gaudy decorative theme (mercifully). Appreciated the food options and the drink varieties. The Punjabi Potato Pastry didn't quite graduate from a domestic exercise to the professional stage but with a little help from a seasoned Punjabi Chef it can get better. The "Dubai", sorry I meant Pistachio, Muffin must have been someone's imagination on presentation but not in consuming. The barista perhaps overlooked the fact that transferring Espresso from a stainless steel holder to the consumer's cup also entails heat transfer that lowers the serving temperature of the drink. Why have comfortable sofas tucked away near the restroom?
I recently ordered the smoked Yemeni Mandi from Chef Sam’s Kitchen for a big gathering and everything was immaculate! The portions were huge, the lamb was tender, and the rice was so flavorful. The customer service that Chef Sam provided was unlike any other caterer I’ve dealt with. This is hands-down my favorite catering and I will for sure be ordering again in the future for all of my events! Thank you for the amazing customer service and delicious food!
