Dropped in at CrossFit Azimuth for about 2 months and loved it. The programming was some really good— well-structured, challenging, and it actually pushed me to improve. It's challenging but it was doable/scalable for all levels. You could tell a lot of thought went into it. The gym itself is super clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything you need. The coaches, especially Kendyll and Jack, were amazing — super supportive, great at giving feedback, and just really good people. The whole community was super welcoming from day one. If you're in the Plano/Dallas area, this place is definitely worth dropping in. Update 1: Amazing Hyrox classes as well, in addition to regular crossfit.
I joined Crossfit Azimuth yesterday. After searching the area and dropping in at other boxes, Azimuth was the right fit for me. The facility is clean, well maintained equipment, good coaches and a friendly, welcoming environment. Happy to call Azimuth my new home Crossfit box. UPDATE: I have been here now for over a year and I still love it here. Great programming, clean and new equipment. **Update** I have been here now for over a year and a half and I love it. The programming is really good and the coaches are outstanding. You should drop-in and give Azimuth a go. You will see me at the 5am class!
Reposting my review, as my last one was taken down. This gym seems to cater to a very specific crowd, and not everyone will feel welcomed here. I encourage people—especially those from marginalized communities—to visit and form their own impressions. Personally, I experienced subtle but noticeable discomfort that I believe others might pick up on, too. The head coach often comes across as unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional, which really impacts the overall environment. The leadership could benefit from some serious reflection, as the focus here feels more like profit than community. I recommend exploring other options if you’re looking for a space that feels inclusive and supportive.
There are a lot of wonderful things to say about Azimuth from the coaches to the community. Everyone is so kind, encouraging, and motivating. The results are not overnight or over a week, but they help you become stronger and more confident in yourself while also making sure you're not going to hurt yourself. I have been going for over a year now and am always trying to get other friends and coworkers to join me. I held this gym to a standard i had at my previous gym and they've been exactly what i wanted and needed. 10/10. Will continue to go!
Great gym full of great people! The coaches are so knowledgeable of all fitness levels and the members are encouraging no matter where you are in your journey. The community is one of a kind and would recommend Azimuth to anyone!
