⭐ 1 Star Review The employee at this branch did not want to do his job. A “Personal Banker” refused to cash my check, even though I have a business account, ID, debit card, and a check from the same bank. He made up a fake excuse saying they couldn’t do it because “the manager doesn’t know you personally,” He also had a very rude attitude, which is unacceptable in a bank that handles people’s money. Another Bank of Texas branch cashed the same check immediately with no issues.
Unprofessional and rude bankers, even after I corrected them twice about inappropriate name-calling. They also spread gossip to other customers. I don’t see why I should be their customer. The experience was awful today, and I’ve encountered the same issue at another branch.
Excellent service. To date, my experience is that all branch employees are professional and friendly, while quickly handling any request I have made of them. At times, they even go so far as to greet me by name when I have come in or driven up. It is hard to beat that level of customer service.
Erika Garcia walked me through my refinance on my car so I can start restoring my classic car and it was nice that she took me serious from the get go. The entire process went smooth and it only took 10 minutes on my lunch break. She was great!
The staff at Bank of Texas treat you like a human and not just another account number. Every time I visit, I'm reminded why I don't do business at Chase or Wells Fargo anymore - and glad I made the change.
