Assistance Center of Collin County

This place is AMAZING and really helped when we needed it. Just remember the staff is human along with all of us they AREN'T rude and all the things some people are saying. If you are truly TRYING to take care of business for yourself they DO REALLY GIVE ASSISTANCE... Follow all guidelines and probably stress a minute and they are most likely going to help.... (All situations are different)... Thank you Collin county assistance center we are forever grateful

DO NOT depend on any of these organizations in Collin county on McKinney side to help you. These places tell you you're approved or that they will help and then not make an attempt to help you. I cannot wait to move out of McKinney! These is no help really over here and these Catholic churches barely want to help or even entertain help.

These people promise to pay a bill for me and told me once I did these two classes that they would take care of it. It's been over 4 days and they know my bill had an extension until the 10th. It's now the 12th. You got people needing help and you are playing with people's lives promise them that you are going to take care of a bill and y'all don't do it. I'm reporting y'all come Monday.

I’m so disappointed that they are refusing to assist me because of my previous job being self employed. She asked me to send her 3 previous months of employment to determine my eligibility. I sent it to her and she still say I was I ineligible. I’m a single mother of 4 children with no support system! I’m not understanding why will they refuse to assist me with my gas bill. She didn’t even have the decency to send me other resources!

My son got a family to help with the Xmas gifts I get there today and I was told the family wanted to give him in person the gifts we got no call no heads up and my son got sad like why even adopt a kid to help if you won’t come through this is horrible to do to a child my child but I will never get mad I’m disappointed who ever that was god bless you my son will not have and gifts due to my situation but he has be period
